The Bell's Student Newsroom is Accepting Applications
Deadline: Monday, November 4 Join The Bell’s student newsroom to report on the latest education issues in New York City and beyond with a focus on equity. Students will learn and use a range of audio journalism skills, receive professional coaching and mentorship, and earn up to a $1000 stipend. Deadline: Friday, December 6 First Take provides high school students with hands-on training in print, broadcast, online, and photo journalism through sessions led by media professionals. NYC high school students of all ethnic backgrounds are welcome to apply. Join the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) NAHJ recently expanded their student membership category to include high school students, and they are offering a free one-year membership to the first 50 high school students who join.
