Apply to join PBS News Student Reporting Labs’ Student Advisory Team for 2024-2025
Deadline: Friday, September 27 Student Reporting Labs is looking for high school journalists to join their Student Advisory Team and help shape their editorial coverage! The time commitment is about 12 hours total, and participating students will receive a stipend. Prior journalism experience is not required. The NYTimes Headway Team wants to hear your thoughts! The NYTimes Headway Election Challenge, in collaboration with Chalkbeat, wants to know how you’re participating in—or tuning out— the 2024 election. Every week between now and the election, they will publish new sets of questions and highlight responses from teens. Then, they'll create a time capsule of teen engagement in the 2024 election. This is a cool chance to be a part of history! Join the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) NAHJ recently expanded their student membership category to include high school students! To commemorate this, they are offering a free one-year membership to the first 50 high school students who would like to join.
