The Hearst High School Media Internship at The Paley Center for Media

The Hearst High School Media Internship provides students with a paid opportunity to understand media and its power. Interns will gain skills in public speaking, production research, script and column writing, as well as editing and audio production. The application is open to rising 11th and 12th grade students. The Society of Professional Journalists chapter leaders in the Northeast is hosting a high school weekend journalism workshop at Suffolk College in Boston on July 31-August 3. The cost is $275 per student, which includes housing and meals. Students with limited means may be eligible for tuition waivers and free housing, meals, and transportation assistance.
